Stephen R Drage was born, raised, and educated in England. He has traveled extensively, and worked in Africa, Europe and the Middle East before settling in the US with his wife Anita.
Stephen spent time in the corporate world running U.S. product planning and development of business telecommunications for a well know multinational electronics company. He eventually started his own business to build telecommunications products and distribute them internationally.
In 2011 Stephen published his first novel Mud Lane – a comedy about life, seen through the eyes of a child growing up in rural England. His second book “Hot Heads, a follow up to Mud Lane, ” was released in 2014. Stephen was awarded the Atlanta Writers Club prize for fiction that same year.
Stephen is an Inventor, a patent holder and an armchair philosopher. He is an active public speaker, having won numerous awards, and in 2009 was a finalist in the Toastmasters “funniest man in Georgia contest.” His speeches range from humor and social commentary, to politics, technology and motivation.
He lives a life in pursuit of truth, and happiness and has a keen interest in the origins of consciousness and the mechanics of belief systems.
